The 2015 Big Ten Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships began last night in Iowa City .
In the 200 medley relay, the Golden Gophers team that includes Sevastopol’s Conner McHugh finished with a time of 1:25.71 for a NCAA B cut and fourth place finish. Minnesota was seeded last going into the event and dropped nearly five seconds.
The University of Michigan won the event with a time of 1:23.47 with Ohio State second and Iowa third. The Big Ten Championships continue through Saturday.
