Sturgeon Bay beat Menominee at the Class AA American Legion State Baseball Tournament in Onalaska Friday afternoon by a score of 5-1. Riley Cordier threw a 1 hitter & struck out 12 in the win.The lone hit Menominee managed against Cordier was a 2 out single in the bottom of the 7th inning. Casey Giesseman led the way going 3 for 3 with a 3 run homerun, Riley Cordier was 2 for 3. The win is the Bays first win at the state level since 2001.
