Rhinelander beat Sturgeon Bay 14-7 at the “AA” State American Legion baseball tournament in Onalaska on Sunday. The Rebels (20-5) scored 3 runs in the 1st, 2nd and 4th innings to take a 9-0 lead before the Bays (14-12) had their first hit. Sturgeon Bay’s late rally fell short as they left 5 runners stranded in the last two innings. Lucas Stephenson led the SB attack with 2 doubles and 4 RBI’s, Joey Fuerst had 3 hits and Riley Schartner drove in two.
