Sturgeon Bay beat Northern Door 11-2 in an American Legion FRV East Division baseball game at Memorial Field on Thursday Night. David Van Dreese went the distance- allowing 6 hits and finishing with 6 strikeouts. The Bays took the lead for good on a Mike Larsen 2-out, 2-run single in the bottom of the 2nd inning before adding 4 runs in the 3rd inning and 5 runs in the 4th inning. Jared Lindemann had 3 hits and scored 3 runs to lead Sturgeon Bay while Lucas Stephenson had 2 hits and 4 RBI’s. Riley Cordier also went 2X3 for the Bays. Matt Hecht and Quin Schram drove in runs for the Chiefs. Cam Zak and Hecht had 2 hits each. Hecht and Anthony Laughlin pitched for Northern Door.
