Badgers Win Big Ten Opener

The 11th ranked Wisconsin men’s basketball team won at Nebraska last night, 64-40.  After falling behind by five in the first four minutes, the Badgers went on a 19-2 run.  Nebraska rallied late in the first half and trailed by just seven at halftime.  However, the Huskers (0-1 / 8-4) were outscored 31-14 in the second half.  Wisconsin’s Ryan Evans hit 9 of 11 shots for a career-high 22 points.  Jordan Taylor added 15 points as the Badgers improve to 1-0 in Big Ten play and 12-2 overall.  Wisconsin will play at Iowa Saturday.  Coverage on 93.9 FM WDOR begins at 11 AM.  Tip-off from Iowa City is at 12 PM.
