The Sturgeon Bay 14 year olds beat Northwoods 13-0 Monday morning. Cooper Nellis pitched a complete game 5 hitter for the win. Austin Lardinois had 4 hits. Bubba Laughlin, Ryan Jackson & Montana Gunlaugsson had 3 hits a piece.
Sturgeon Bay beat Bay Port 10-2 on Monday afternoon. Austin Lardinois went the distance and had 2 hits. Sturgeon Bay scored 9 runs on 5 hits in the first inning. Sturgeon Bay (3-1) will play Middleton at 3:00pm Tuesday in Eau Claire.
The Sturgeon Bay 13 year old all stars were eliminated in the Babe Ruth State Tournament Monday. Sturgeon Bay lost to Bayport 11-1 in Green Bay. Austin Claflin & Nick LeCaptain each had two hits in the loss for Sturgeon Bay which finished the tournament with a record of (1-2).
