The Sturgeon Bay Babe Ruth 15 year olds went (3-2) to finish in 4th place at the Wisconsin State Tournament in Dodgeville. The 13’s and 14’s have also been eliminated from their respective tournament.

-beat Lodi 6-5 on Saturday. WP- Jeffrey Alberts- 4 scoreless innings. Tied the game in the 6th inning on an RBI triple from LeCaptain and he scored the winning run on a balk. Connor Brennan (2 run single) and Isaiah Spetz (RBI single) help fuel the comeback.
-beat Marinette 8-5 on Saturday. WP- Ernie Erickson. Save- Tory Jandrin. LeCaptain- 3 hits, Brennan, Johnson and Jake Moeller- 2 hits.

-lost to Eau Claire 4-3 on Sunday. Rallied for 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning but furious comeback bid fell short. LeCaptain- 2 hits. (LeCaptain finished 12X19 with 8 doubles in the tournament)
14 year olds in Eau Claire
-lost to Eau Claire 12-0 on Saturday and lost to DC Everest 9-6 on Sunday. Leading hitters were Jared Van Bramer, Trevor Jacobson, Jaeger Brusky and Michael Rose.
13 year olds in Janesville
-beat Waunakee 8-3 on Saturday. WP- Mitchell Jackson. Leading hitters- Jackson, Trevor Reinhardt and Trent Ehlers- 2 hits.
-lost to Eau Claire 3-2 on Sunday despite not allowing a hit.
