The Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol girls swim team will have four individuals and a pair of relay teams at the Division 2 State Meet, which is today at the University of Wisconsin Natatorium in Madison. Diving begins at 2:30 this afternoon while the swimming timed finals are at 6:30 this evening. Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol’s Savanna Townsend won the sectional title in the 100 yard butterfly last Saturday at Plymouth and she will also swim in the 50 yard freestyle tonight. She placed second in the 100 butterfly and third in the 50 freestyle. This season she enters the meet with the fastest time in the 100 butterfly at 58.15 and the second-fastest time in the 50 freestyle (24:16).
