Area Bowlers Head To State

The 2023 Wisconsin High School Bowling Club State Championships are being held this weekend (3/3-3/5) in the Wausau area. The newly expanded local league will be well represented as two teams and five individual bowlers out of the Door County Lakeshore High School Bowling Club qualified for state. District Coordinator, Michelle Pfannenstiel said regardless of school affiliation everyone will be cheering for one another…

Pfannenstiel was asked if the lane conditions will be different at the state level then what the bowlers have experienced at their local bowling center…

The individual bowlers at state from the Door County Lakeshore High School Bowling Club are:
Bella Roen, Dylan Taylor and Landon Heldmann of Southern Door, Austin Haegele of Algoma and Paul Rosinsky of Kewaunee. Southern Door will head to state and the team is comprised of Roen, Taylor, Heldmann, Cooper Arsenault and Cayden Forsch. Kewaunee is also at state and that team includes Rosinsky, Dylan Cherney, Ricky Clark, Preston Slack and Malichi Heffernan.
