Twenty five employees from Wisconsin Public Service have been sent to Connecticut to restore electricity to a quarter of a million residents who are without power as a result of hurricane Sandy. The crew, which includes an employee from Sturgeon Bay, is made up of 22 field technicians, two supervisors & a field mechanic. The group is expected to be in Connecticut for two weeks. The Green Bay utility says the cost of the assistance will be passed along to the respective utility companies requiring the help & will have no affect on WPS customers.
