Winter Fleet Coming to Sturgeon Bay

January is expected to be a very busy month for the movement of vessels scheduled to over-winter in Sturgeon Bay. According to the tentative schedule put together for the Bay Shipbuilding winter fleet, the plan is for the Joseph Block & the Wilfred Sykes to arrive on Friday. The 634-foot Buffalo is expected on Friday & the Arthur Anderson, which was previously set to reach port on Thursday of this week, is now not expected to arrive until Sunday, January 12th, along with the Honorable James L. Oberstar. The tentative schedule also calls for eight other vessels to reach Sturgeon Bay in January.
