An agency based in Sturgeon Bay is hoping the word “Hope”, will convey its mission to the public utilizing its services. What was once the Women’s Employment Project &, most recently, WEP, Incorporated, has changed its name to Hope, Inc or “Helping Others Prosper & Excel.” The organization’s Chief Executive Officer, Sandy Duckett, says the name change came at the urging of employees at the home energy & employment services agency based in Sturgeon Bay…[audio:http://wdor.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/N1236.mp3|titles=Sandy Duckett]

Duckett says the new brand will improve the agency’s ability to connect to the community & its clients. Speaking of partners, Hope, Inc unveiled an energy audit program, in partnership with Focus on Energy, that could lead to energy rebates. The unveiling program for Hope, Inc was held at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club.
