Warnings About Ozone

Weather forecasters are telling us that the oppressively hot weather that we have been experiencing is all but gone. However, a byproduct of that heat and humidity has surfaced; ozone. Rhonda Kolberg, Door County Public Health Director and Health Officer, says an alert was issued on Thursday…
Kolberg says people who are susceptible to the effects of ozone should take precautions whenever an alert is issued…
Kolberg says being around air-conditioning can also be helpful when the air is heavy. She says a section of the DNR website provides information on ozone levels.
