Kolberg says being around air-conditioning can also be helpful when the air is heavy. She says a section of the DNR website provides information on ozone levels. Residents can also sign up to receive an alert from the DNR whenever the local air quality is affected by particles floating up the Lake Michigan shoreline for industrial areas.
