Virlee Gunworks 2nd Location in Sturgeon Bay

In Sturgeon Bay business news, Virlee Gunworks of New Franken will soon be constructing a Sturgeon Bay location at 1019 Egg Harbor Road, also known as the “old Pamida building”. Most recently, this building was a wood-working and painting shop for yacht builders, but now the 9,300 square foot building will be redevelped as an indoor shooting range. It will also include a retail sales office, inventory space, a classroom, interactive indoor shooting range, and sales of new and used firearms. The original Virlee Gunworks in New Franken, a thriving business for the last 12 years, will continue to operate for the southern end of neighboring counties. Sturgeon Bay will be their 2nd location. A groundbreaking ceremony for new constrution will be held Monday April 5th at 3:30 pm directly in front of the current building. The estimated completion of the new Virlee Gunworks is scheduled for this coming August.
