Two Way Traffic in Downtown Sturgeon Bay

Two way traffic was heavily favored during a public hearing Tuesday evening on traffic patterns in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Ten of the eleven people who addressed the city council during the meeting strongly supported the idea of extending two way traffic to 4th Avenue & Kentucky & Louisiana Streets. Not everyone favored the two way configuration. Correspondence from the post office indicated a desire to leave things as they are on 4th Avenue so motorists can get to outdoor mailboxes.
