Two Sturgeon Bay Men Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Two Sturgeon Bay men who were arrested in connection with a two-month joint internet crimes against children investigation were in Door County circuit court at a bail hearing Monday afternoon. Bail of $10,000 cash was set for 37-year old Steven Link on multiple charges of invasion of privacy and possession of child pornography. Twenty six year old Kory Murphy had bail set at $3,500 signature bond on multiple counts of possession of child porn. The Sturgeon Bay Police Department joined investigators from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation and the Brown County Sheriff’s Department in the execution of a warrant at a at a downtown Sturgeon Bay business and apartment. Voyeuristic material, including hidden cameras, images and movies, were recovered along with several hundred images of child pornography. Based on the results of the investigation, Link and Murphy were taken into custody Friday. The two men are expected back in court on Monday at 10AM. At that time, a court complaint is expected to be submitted.
