The Paul R. Tregurtha, a 1,013 ft lake freighter arrived in Sturgeon Bay Friday night, and early Saturday she was in the dry dock at Bay Shipbuilding, with the help of the Selvick Tugs.
The Tregurtha ran aground in the St. Mary’s River a little over a week ago. After being freed, she went to a yard in Erie, Pennsylvania for initial repairs and now has arrived in Sturgeon Bay. The extent of damage is not known and it’s also not known how long she will be in dry dock.
