Trees Damaged In Sturgeon Bay

Sturgeon Bay police are investigating a case of vandalism to trees at the Purves Lagoon neighborhood on Sturgeon Bay’s west side. The trees were in an area that is part of the Purves Lagoon Homeowners Association and the damage was done sometime overnight on August 8th-9th. The trees were topped and many branches cut or broken off. Residents of the area discovered the damage when they found branches in the water which presented a hazard to boaters on the bay and in the nearby marina.
Anybody who may have any information as to who may have done this is asked to contact the Sturgeon Bay Police Department, at 746-2450.
