A large tree tumbled down onto telephone wires near the intersection of 9th Avenue & Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay Wednesday afternoon. Part of the tree fell into the street. Sturgeon Bay Police officers were dispatched to the scene and they closed off the street, diverting traffic around the area in question so that a cleanup crew could remove the debris.
