Three Men Arrested For Drug Trafficking

Three men from Door and Kewaunee County have been arrested in connection with a drug trafficking investigation. Door County Sheriff Terry Vogel says the Door/Kewaunee Drug task force, assisted by members of the US Drug Enforcement Administration, the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation, the Wisconsin State Patrol, Sturgeon Bay Police and officers of the Door and Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Departments has been conducting an investigation into the sale of large quantities of marijuana…

As a resultof the investigation, search warrants were executed at 2 homes in the Town of Nasewaupee earlier this month. Cash, guns and a large quantity of marijuana were seized and 3 men arrested, 2 men, ages 24 and 43, from the Town of Nasewaupee and a 26 year-old Algoma man. They face a number of charges related to the possession and sale of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The 3 men arrested bonded out and await future court dates. Others involved with the sale and use of marijuana were issued citations. Sheriff Vogel says the investigation is ongoing and more arrests and charges are expected.
