Six individuals have expressed interest in filling an open seat on the Sturgeon Bay Board of Education. The seat opened up with the resignation of Steve Van Kirk who resigned after taking a position out of state. Those providing letters of interest and/or resumes were Mike Barry, Bob Loss, Chris Neuville, Dan Powell, Jacob Schultz & Dick Stuewer. The original plan was for the school board to conduct interviews with the candidates on September 28th, but now it appears that won’t happen until October 3rd. Van Kirk was re-elected in the April election.
