Sturgeon Bay Police are assisting the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department after two fires were apparently set Saturday morning. After observing security video at a west side church it was determined that a teenage male had walked up to the entrance shortly before 2AM & set a fire in the keyless entry box causing damage to inside areas of the church. The other incident was just a few minutes later when officers were dispatched to Otumba Park where a fire had caused unknown damage to the park pavilion. It has been ruled arson. The security footage from the church shows what looks like a teenage boy, wearing plaid shorts, a shirt with a skull on it, white socks & dark shoes.
If anyone has any information about either incident, or the boy on the security footage, you are asked to contact the Sturgeon Bay Police Department at (920)-746-2450. If you wish to remain anonymous you can use the department’s confidential web tip form http://www.sturgeonbaypolice.com/webtip.html
