Sturgeon Bay Pharmacist Convicted of Drug Charges

A 58-year old Sturgeon Bay pharmacist was placed on three years probation & sentenced to 60 days in jail in Door County Circuit Court action last week on six counts of being in possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs. James Nusslock pleaded no contest to the charges. Nusslock had originally been charged with 22 counts that included theft, possession of controlled substances & possession of narcotics. Judge D. Todd Ehlers stayed the jail time & fined the city man $1,905. Nusslock must also make restitution, provide 50 hours of community service, maintain full employment, obtain an AODA assessment, & comply with any counseling, assessments, evaluations & programs recommended. In addition, he may not possess controlled substances without a valid prescription & must avoid contact with persons mentioned in the court complaint. Nusslock was cited for the violations in Sturgeon Bay on March 27th.
