Sturgeon Bay Man Arrested for Car Theft

Sturgeon Bay Police arrested a city man early Saturday morning on a car theft citation. Officers were dispatched to the report of a disturbance on Sycamore Street. They learned that the 23-year old city man had fled the home and was seen running into a nearby field. More officers responded and found the Sturgeon Bay man driving a vehicle near a home adjacent to the field. It was determined that the vehicle was stolen from the residence. The city man was taken into custody on one count of operating a motor vehicle without the owners consent, booked and jailed.
