The common polling place for wards 24, 20 & 21, 18, 19, 25, 28 & 30 is the Bayview Lutheran Church fellowship hall.
Council-members also agreed to proceed with the process that will lead to special assessments for sewer & water installation/extension to service the Maritime Plaza & Maritime Landing developments. As we reported before, the utilities were installed based upon an agreement with the property owner at the time. However, he went bankrupt & the parcel, bounded by Sycamore & Vibernum Streets & Grant Avenue, was sold. In order to recoup just under $330,000 in utility costs, the city has been redoing the special assessment process.
