Stop Lights in Operation on Egg Harbor Road Entrance to Walmart

Sturgeon Bay City Engineer Tony Depies reports that the final component for the traffic signals at the entrance to the Walmart store off of Egg Harbor Road has finally arrived & they are now in operation. The signals will detect vehicles leaving the Nightengale Supper Club & will control traffic exiting the restaurant parking lot. Depies says Egg Harbor Road will have a continuous green cycle unless a vehicle trying to leave the store or restaurant is detected. A green light will appear after about twenty seconds of wait time. Right turns can be made on a red light after vehicles have stopped & yielded to traffic with the right of way. The signals are timed to work with signals at 14th Avenue so that Egg Harbor Road traffic should not encounter a red light at more than one of the intersections.
