Steve Van Kirk Resigns From Sturgeon Bay School Board

A seat on the Sturgeon Bay Board of Education has opened up with the resignation of Steve Van Kirk. Van Kirk informed the district that he has taken a position that requires him to move out of state. From now until September 7th, the board of education will accept submissions from prospective candidates. Anyone who would like to serve on the board of education should send a letter of interest & a resume to Sturgeon Bay Superintendent Joe Stutting at 1230 Michigan Street or email jstutting@sturbay.k12.wi.us. The school board will set up interviews during September & the final selection will be made at the September 28th board meeting. Any questions should be directed to Joe Stutting at (920)-746-2801 or (920)-495-8300. There are nine persons on the Sturgeon Bay Board of Education, all of whom are elected on an at large basis.
