The Bayview Bridge may be closed to pedestrians & vehicles for the foreseeable future while a renovation projects is ongoing, but snowmobilers will be able to cross the span in Sturgeon Bay a little longer. The initial report from the Door County Trails Coordinator indicated that snowmobiles could cross the bridge along the designated trail until Sunday, March 10th. Now comes word from the Department of Transportation that riders can use the bridge route through Sunday, March 17th. The trail will be closed one day later. Snowmobile riders are asked to exercise caution when traveling across the bridge & stay within the limits of the established trail.
