The Door County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the report of the theft of a snowmobile trailer and snowmobiles from a Brussels area resident in recent weeks. The man said the missing 12 foot by eight and a half foot “sled bed” trailer is worth about $7,000. The three snowmobiles, all Yamaha models, are 1997, 1998 and 2002 vintage. The investigating officer noted in the theft report that bolt cutters were used to remove a master lock from the trailer. It appears that the theft occurred at the end of November. The total loss was listed at $18,300.
