The village board for Sister Bay has approved a sewer rate increase for the village utility effective July 1st of this year. The board conducted a public hearing on the matter earlier this week and then voted to raise the rates. An average residence using 10,000 gallons of water per quarter will see billings that are 2.3% higher. This translates into an increase of about $3.90 per quarter, or $1.30 per month. The first billing with the new rates will be sent in July.
A copy of the complete sewer rate for Sister Bay is on file at the village administrator’s office and may be viewed at 2383 Maple Drive weekdays between 8am and 3pm. The water and sewer rates are also available at the village website, http://www.sisterbaywi.gov.
