It’s expected to be very busy in and around Bay Shipbuilding as five vessels will be heading out to the shipping lanes, three Saturday & two on Sunday. Another vessel is scheduled to arrive in port over the weekend. On Thursday, the 1000-foot Paul R. Tregurtha made its way to Lake Michigan. On Saturday, the tentative schedule calls for the 1000-foot Edgar A. Speer & the 767-foot Cason J. Calloway & Phillip R. Clarke to depart. On Sunday, the 1000-foot James R. Barker & the 806-foot Honorable James L. Oberstar will be heading out. The movement of vessels could impact traffic wishing to cross Sturgeon Bay’s two operating bridges from time to time this weekend.
