Algoma’s 25th annual Shanty Days is this weekend, August 12th through the 14th. The theme this year is “Picture This-Shanty Days is 25!”, & the honorees are Jane & Bob Kuhn. The celebration of the lake has great food, music, the big parade at noon on Saturday, fireworks Sunday at dusk, arts & crafts, family fun & lots more. The fishing contest runs Thursday through Sunday, & you can view the photo contest entries on Steele Street.
