Senator Jacque’s Wife & Brother Urge Vaccination

In a recent statement to Green Bay’s WBAY Channel 2, Renee Jacque, wife of our District 1 Senator Andre Jacque, says that while COVID vaccination is a personal choice, she asks that individuals who are eligible and able to receive the vaccination to trust the medical professionals who recommend it. Senator Jacque was hospitalized Tuesday August 17th after learning the prior week that he had tested positive for COVID-19. The Senator’s office confirmed that on the evening of Monday August 23rd Senator Jacque had been intubated and put on a ventilator. In her statement, Renee Jacque comments, “My children and I are filled with humble gratitude for the remarkable, compassionate medical professionals that are working tirelessly to care for Andre in the hospital.” She then states how 5 of their 8 family members tested positive with the virus, and of the 3 fully vaccinated members of the family, there was one breakthrough COVID case with mild symptoms. The senator’s brother Pierre Jacque of Green Bay has also voiced his request for those eligible for vaccination to get vaccinated…….

Pierre also recommends vaccination in hopes to prevent situations similar to his brother’s.
