Voters in the Southern Door School District selected six candidates who will move on to the spring election during primary balloting Tuesday. Of the 2012 votes cast, Mike Toneys led the way with 337 votes, followed by incumbent Pamela Parks with 328 & Kelly Tassoul with 290 votes. The rest of the field included Katie Schnorr with 267 votes, former board member Dustin Miller with 261, & Dean Gerend with 256 votes. Finishing out of the running were Heidi Gutschow who picked up 193 votes & Jerry Paul Frank who finished with 79. Three seats are open on the Southern Door Board of Education. The spring election will be held on Tuesday, April 1st.
