Schlicht Says City Should be Compensated for Detour Routes

Sturgeon Bay Alderman Bob Schlicht had more on his mind than roundabouts during the Department of Transportation’s informational meeting Tuesday evening. Schlicht wanted to make sure that if the project on Highway 42/57 moves forward that the city is compensated for the wear and tear on streets used as a detour route. DOT representatives assured Schlicht that, if the project moves forward, planning will include some of the concerns he raised.
