There is still time to submit a suggestion for a new name for the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center, but the deadline is Friday. The tourism organization is offering $300 worth of Sturgeon Bay gift certificates to the person or persons that come up with a name change that better suits the work of the local organization. The visitor center believes its current name does not adequately convey the multiplicity of programming being offered & the impact of that programming. With membership playing a critical role in the viability of the organization, it is thought that broadening the scope of the name will spur more business to support the Sturgeon Bay organization. Submissions can be dropped off at the SBVC office at 36 South 3rd Avenue or emailed to todd@sturgeonbay.net The deadline is Friday at 5PM.
