SBPD Will Keep Traffic Flowing, Even During Parade

The Sturgeon Bay Police Department says every effort will be made to keep traffic moving during the Saint Patrick’s Day parade in Sturgeon Bay Saturday morning. Police officers, with the aid of other city personnel, will help motorists detour around the parade route. Drivers will be able to use the Michigan Street bridge to cross from one side of the city to the other. It’s believed that there will be enough gaps in the parade that traffic can cross 3rd Avenue downtown on Michigan Street without affecting parade movement & it should take about 45 minutes for the close to three dozen units to move through the Saint Patrick’s Day parade route in Sturgeon Bay Saturday.
