Residential Disturbance Leads To Arrest

Some tense moments earlier this week as Sturgeon Bay police officers were sent to a home in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue to follow up on a disturbance report involving a weapon. Officers learned that 2 men had been fighting inside the home and, at one point, a knife was held to the throat of one individual and, what appeared to be a pistol, was pointed at the man during another point in the altercation. On closer inspection, the pistol turned out to be a B-B gun.

A 20 year-old city man was taken into custody and jailed. He could be charged with one felony count of recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanor charges of criminal damage to property, battery, and disorderly conduct.
