A Door County cherry orchard is represented in a new pane of stamps that will be dedicated by the US Postal Service on Monday, October 1st at 9AM. The 15 “Earthscapes” stamps offer a bird’s eye view of the land we all share. In the Door County image, a cherry orchard near Brussels is in full bloom. The stamp dedication will be held in the eagle gym at Southern Door High School & will include students, faculty, staff, school board members, representatives of town & state government, local cherry growers & processors, Terry Sorenson, President of the Wisconsin Cherry Growers, Alice in Dairyland & US Postal Service representatives. The event will be open to the public.
