Police Academy For Kids

Participants will learn about such police duties as traffic enforcement, investigations, traffic control, handling domestic disturbances and learning defensive tactics. Officer South says youngsters will also discuss deadly force issues…

Space is limited to the first 20 applicants and applications are due by August 1st. The fee for the Summer Police Academy is $10, which covers the cost of a t-shirt and daily snacks. Applications are available at the Algoma and Sturgeon Bay Police Departments and the Sturgeon Bay Parks Department.
