The Village Of Egg Harbor is reminding residents and visitors that a portion of Highway 42 will be closed to traffic from 10am to 4pm for the Pumpkin Patch celebration on Saturday. With everything going on in the village, the temporary closure is intended to provide a layer of safety for everyone involved.
Village employees will begin setting up the closures at 8am Saturday and Highway 42 will be closed to traffic from Market Street through Orchard Road beginning at 10am. For those wishing to drive through Egg Harbor, the detour runs from Market Street to Church Street and then to County Trunk E.
