Motorists traveling past the intersection of 14th Avenue & Egg Harbor Road in Sturgeon Bay will find the newly erected stop lights flashing red this weekend, indicating that the intersection should be treated as a four way stop. The stop signs have been removed & the street name signs will be repositioned in the near future. Next week, the stop lights will be changed from flashing red to their normal mode. Motorists are also being asked to be aware of the stop lights at the entrance to the Wal-Mart store on Egg Harbor Road. Those lights will also be activated soon. The Sturgeon Bay Street Department is asking drivers to take notice of the new traffic signals in the general area of Wal-Mart as they change in the upcoming week.
