It appears that the City of Sturgeon Bay has completed the delivery of new garbage & recycling carts to residents in the city. The public works department wants to remind everybody that the new carts are not to be used until November 12th. The new single stream recycling & solid waste system goes into effect that day. The rules for use were placed inside one of the carts so if you have not checked it yet, take the time to read up about what you can put in the recycling or garbage carts. There is a long list of both. The small booklet also has a question & answer section which covers just about all of the possible questions. If you have a question that is not answered or if you did not receive your carts, contact the Sturgeon Bay Municipal Services Department at (920)-746-2912, or stop at the office at 835 North 14th Avenue.
