New Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity

As of October 13th, Door County Habitat for Humanity will have a new leader. He is David Van Dyke. Locally, Habitat for Humanity has helped 36 families obtain new homes. The 37th home will be dedicated on Monday. Van Dyke comes to the local organization from the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes and has nearly 20 years experience with nonprofit organizations. The organization’s previous executive director, Rick Nelson, left to return to Honduras and hospital work.
