New Bill Would Give Residents Say On Roundabouts

State Representative Garey Bies has signed on to a bill that would allow residents to have a say in the installation of a roundabout in their area. The state DOT is moving forward with plans to install the circular turning areas at the intersections of Highway 42/57, Michigan Street and Egg Harbor Road. Bies says the bill will follow the usual process that could lead to its passage. In the meantime, the DOT has scheduled a meeting where residents in Door County can comment on the proposed roundabouts…
