McDonald’s Rebuild Begins in Sturgeon Bay

Folks who’d like a Big Mac in Sturgeon Bay will have to head to the west side of the city for the next 90 days or so. Starting Monday, the popular restaurant off Egg Harbor Road will be razed in preparation for the construction of a new building at the same site. Once completed, both the interior & exterior of the restaurant will reflect the architecture & amenities that are found in the latest version of the chain that started with the “golden arches.” Owner Jeff Norland says the new facility will better serve the needs of McDonald’s customers. He says it will take about 90 days for the new restaurant to rise from the dust & debris of the old one.
