When you hear about accidents caused by distracted driving, you often think of people who lose focus while using a cell phone or fiddling with a radio. In the case of a Palatine, Illinois man Sunday, it was a bratwurst. The man said he was passing a car driven by a West Allis woman, eating a brat, when his vehicle crossed the centerline and sideswiped her car. Luckily, no one was injured in the accident on Highway 57, near School Road, in the Town of Brussels. The Illinois man was cited for inattentive driving.
