LWVDC Offers Free Rides for Voting

The League of Women Voters of Door County is collaborating with the Door County Department of Transportation to offer free rides to the polls, for anyone who may need it, to vote early or on April 6th in the Spring Election. The League will pick up that cost of a ride to the polls and back home. Wheelchair transport and help with curbside voting are also available. If you wish to vote curbside, you can contact your municipal clerk and request curbside voting and schedule a time to do so. Once you arrive at your polling place, you can call your clerk again and they will come out to assist you. The League is helping to pay the cost so that voters who lack transportation can exercise their right to vote. To access this service, you can call Transportation Manager Pam Busch at 920-746-6944.
