“Lombardi” At Peninsula Players Theatre

During his time in Green Bay, Vince Lombardi was a larger than life legend, partially because of his ability to turn the Green Bay Packers into a perennial championship caliber team, but also because of the strength of his personality. Lombardi was loved, feared, hated, respected, and revered. The Peninsula Players Theatre has brought the man, the myth, the legend known as “Lombardi” to the stage at the “theatre in a garden” now through October 14th.

Neil Friedman has the title role in the Eric Simonson play based on the best-selling biography “When Pride Still Mattered: A Life Of Vince Lombardi”. Friedman says he spent long hours getting ready to play Lombardi by viewing archival footage of the legendary coach. He also channeled Lombardi in other ways…
