The Door County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that the victim of an all-terrain vehicle accident Saturday morning, on private property in the Town of Sevastopol, died Tuesday. Fifty nine year old Dennis Ewaskowitz of Kenosha was seriously injured when the four-wheel ATV he was operating failed to negotiate a curve & collided with a tree. He was not wearing a helmet. Ewaskowitz was found near his machine & transported to a Green Bay hospital where he passed away Tuesday. Sheriff Terry Vogel says the accident remains under investigation & the department of natural resources is assisting the sheriff’s office.
